
In 1680 Matthias Greeff arrived in Cape Town from Germany via the Dutch East Indies. Now his descendants, Étienne and Caris, see it for the first time, too. In the background of the sea photo is False Bay and Muizenberg/Fish Hoek, where David and I studied and met at George Whitefield College, and later married and lived.

It's certainly one of the most scenic parts of SA - especially as one can simply drive around the entire peninsula in one day & experience about 3 different climates in the process. It hasn't only changed a lot in 330 years, there's been enormous changes since I was in the Navy @ Simons Town in 1971/2. Hope you enjoyed re-visiting the area - we try to get there at least once every 2 years. Regards, Tony & Rose
